Into Visual.

My story begins at Royal College Colombo 07, where a curiosity for creativity quietly took root. Even during school I was drawn to graphic design and visual storytelling — exploring it whenever I had the chance. That curiosity led me to earn a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering, Upper Second from the University of Westminster, UK, completed at IIT Sri Lanka — a technical foundation that shapes how I think about design to this day.

While pursuing my degree part-time, I began my professional path at MiHCM, a leading HR tech software company, as a Junior Graphic Designer. Over the next five years I steadily grew through the ranks — stepping into UI/UX design within the marketing team and eventually advancing to the role of Creative Design Specialist. Working in a complex B2B environment that serves thousands of users globally gave me hands-on experience collaborating with CEOs, cross-functional teams, and developers — and reinforced my belief that great design is a balance of empathy, clarity, and collaboration.

Beyond my corporate role, I co-founded Dezign24x7, a digital agency through which I delivered creative solutions for over 100+ clients across branding, web design, social media, and video production. Balancing both worlds sharpened my creative instincts and business acumen simultaneously.

To me, creativity doesn't have a single definition — it's a journey of continuous learning and exploration. My design approach balances intuition with strategy, crafting experiences that are intuitive, delightful, usable, accessible, and desirable. I'm now focused on the next chapter: Product Design at the intersection of AI and evolving digital technologies.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me writing poems in Sinhala, exploring voice acting, capturing life through a lens, riding motorcycles, or working out at the gym. Creativity, in every form, keeps me moving forward.
